The Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) truck was a military truck manufactured in large numbers in Canada and used by the Allies during World War II. Most of the CMP trucks were manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors of Canada Ltd. and Ford Motor Company of Canada. Just over 500,000 CMP trucks were produced in Canada, which accounted for approximately two-thirds of the 815,729 military vehicles manufactured in this country during the war. CMP truck production in Canada exceeded the total production of military trucks in Nazi Germany.
