Description

The Panzer III Ausf F was a medium tank used by the Germans during World War II. The F model had several distinctive technical features, it was equipped with a 5 cm KwK 38 L/42 cannon, which allowed it to fire armor piercing and high explosive shells, and its armor was 30 mm thick at the front and 15 mm thick at the sides.

Panzer III Ausf F had a crew of five and a 300-horsepower Maybach HL 120 TRM engine, which gave it a top speed of about 40 km/h on the road. It weighed about 23 tons and had a range of about 165 km on the road. This version was produced in small numbers and then replaced by more advanced tank models as the war progressed.
