The Bedford MWD was a truck developed for the British Army based on the civilian model of the same name. Its low production cost and its significant performance (it could carry up to 750 kg of material or a medium anti-tank gun) made it a vehicle that was widely produced during the war and continued in use some years later, already in the post-war period.
