Description

British E-Class destroyers were ships built with the intention of defending the trade lines of their vast pre-World War II empire. There were 9 E-Class ships: Exmouth, Echo, Eclipse, Electra, Encounter, Escapade Escort, Esk and Express…All were completed in the mid-1930s and took part in many important battles of the war, such as the sinking of the Bismark and the Battle of the Java Sea.
