Description

The Pz.Kpfw.Mk.I 202 was an armored reconnaissance vehicle used by the Germans during the Second World War.

After the collapse of the Allies in May 1940, when Germany invaded France through the Ardennes Forest, the British Expeditionary Corps, and a large part of the French army, were forced to retreat in haste towards the English Channel and in particular towards the beaches of Dunkirk. This hasty withdrawal resulted in the abandonment of much military equipment that was left at the expense of the Wehrmacht. Among other things, part of that abandoned material were the Daimler Dingo, British armored cars, which the Germans reused and transformed into their Pz.Kpfw.Mk.I 202.
