Description

The LAV-25 is an 8-wheeled armored vehicle characterized mainly by its amphibious capability. It has been used by the U.S. Army (Marine Corps) since the mid-1980s.

This vehicle is equipped with a diesel engine, which allows it to reach top speeds close to 100km/h, it also has 8×8 all-wheel drive, which makes it well adapted to almost any terrain. It has been built in several versions, the anti-tank version incorporates a TOW-2 teleguided missile system mounted on a rotating turret.

This vehicle has been in service in “Desert Storm” (1993) and subsequent operations on Iraqi soil.
