Description

The four-axle railroad flatcar, known as the SSys type, was used by the Germans during World War II to transport vehicles and supplies weighing up to 50 tons.

It was thus capable of carrying most of the light and medium tanks and self-propelled guns used by the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS. This included models such as the Panzer I, II, III and IV, Panther, Jagdpanther, StuG III and IV, Nashorn, Wespe, Hummel, Sturmpanzer and many others. Only heavy tanks, such as the Tiger I and II and their variants, required the use of more robust six-axle wagons.

The main features of the kit comprise more than 250 plastic parts for the construction of the carriage and a section of railroad track, with additional details provided (photo-etched). It also includes decals for a specific marking option. (tank model not included in the kit)
