The M113 is one of the most iconic armored personnel carriers(APC) in history. Developed in the late 1950s and early 1960s, its purpose was to move a fully equipped infantry squad as close as possible to the combat zone, providing good protection.

In addition to its transport role, it could provide close support with its armament, which in the first versions consisted of a Browning M2 12.7 mm machine gun.

Its combat debut was in the Vietnam War, and with more than 80,000 units produced, it became one of the most widely used armored vehicles worldwide, operating in multiple armies thanks to its reliability and versatility.
