Description

The BMPT “Ramka” is a Russian-made armored vehicle, whose main mission is to serve for tank and infantry operations, mainly in urban areas. This vehicle is sometimes nicknamed “Terminator”.

The BMPT is built on the T-72 chassis, has been built in large numbers by the Russian Army and also (under license) by other countries.

The BMPT mounts two 30 mm 2A42 dual feed cannons with a cyclic rate of fire of up to 600 rds/min, and can fire a variety of different types of ammunition, including: High Explosive, Armor Piercing (APDS), Fragmentation (HE-FRAG) and Tracer (AP-T).
