The SEALs (Sea, Air, and Land) were a U.S. Navy special operations unit that played a prominent role during the Vietnam War. These highly trained fighters carried out infiltration missions on land, sea and air, conducting covert and reconnaissance operations behind enemy lines. The SEALs demonstrated a unique combination of tactical skills, water skills and adaptability in an extremely hostile environment. They participated in rescue, sabotage, intelligence gathering and direct assault missions.
