Description
The Ford G917t truck is a curious vehicle, manufactured by the American company Ford in its Bucharest plant (in Romania) from 1938. When in 1941, Romania broke its neutrality to join the Axis forces, the Ford factory was moved to Cologne where the G917t was adapted from a civilian to a military vehicle.
The German Army used this vehicle, especially for logistical supply transport operations, for much of World War II.
