Description

Italeri version of the famous Soviet tank of the Cold War: the T-62. The T-62 replaced, in the early 1960s, the T-55 as the main tank of the Warsaw Pact forces, this new tank included a 115 mm high velocity gun capable of penetrating the armor of contemporary NATO tanks.

The T-62 also participated in several Arab-Israeli wars since it was sold to several Arab countries (including Syria).
