The MTB (“Motor Torpedo Boat”) 77 was a fast torpedo boat developed by the Vorper Company for the British Royal Navy during World War II. This type of ships were mainly used for anti-submarine actions in the Battle of the Atlantic and for coastal patrols. It was equipped with 3 powerful 4,200 hp engines, which allowed it to reach speeds of 70 km/h (40 knots).
Usually this ship was armed with 457mm torpedo tubes, depth charges, 0.303″ Vickers machine guns and anti-aircraft guns.
Its crew ranged from 10 to 13 men.
