The world at war. Panzer III ausf A WaW-001

The magazine “The world at war”, brings us in this issue the Panzer III Ausf A, this is the first version of the Panzer III and was manufactured before the outbreak of World War II. It mounted a 37 mm anti-tank cannon and two MG 34 7.92 mm machine guns, with a 15 mm armor, its engine was the Maybach HL120 that allowed it to reach speeds close to 42 km/h.

The Panzer III was the spearhead of the German armored divisions during the first years of the conflict.
