Description

The T-40 was a Soviet-made light tank used by the Red Army during World War II and during the Winter War (invasion of Finland in 1940).

The most notable feature of the T-40 was undoubtedly its amphibious capability, which made it the only armored vehicle of the time capable of fording rivers without having to use a bridge.

Due to its weak armor and armament, the T-40 was no longer operational after 1941.
