The AMR 35 ADFI was a variant of the French AMR 35 light tank, developed specifically for reconnaissance missions in the 1930s. In 1/72 scale, this model recreates in detail the compact and agile design of the vehicle, which was intended to accompany and protect cavalry units on scouting operations. The AMR 35 ADFI was equipped with a 7.5 mm machine gun or a 13.2 mm cannon in its anti-tank version, and reached speeds of up to 55 km/h, characteristics that allowed it to move quickly on the battlefield and evade direct attacks. This light tank was used by the French army during the first clashes of World War II, particularly in the defense of France against the German invasion of 1940. Although its mobility was an advantage, its armor and light armament proved insufficient against German tanks. Many AMR 35 ADFIs were destroyed or captured during the campaign.
