The Centurion Mk.5/1 was an improved variant of the famous British Centurion tank, used by the 4th Royal Tank Regiment (4.RTR). This version included additional frontal armor and improvements in turret protection, adapting to the needs of modern combat during the Cold War. It was in service in various scenarios, including NATO exercises and West German deployments. Armed with a 20-pounder (84 mm) gun, it combined firepower, protection and mobility. The 4.RTR was used extensively as part of the British armored forces before the arrival of more modern models.
