The H35 was a French light tank, designed in the late 1930s, and was in service during the battle for France (in May 1940).
The French company Hotchkiss initially built this tank to support the infantry, although it was eventually adopted by the cavalry units of the French army. The H35 It suffered from the same defects as other French tanks of the time, it was well armored and reasonably well armed but lacked a radio and the turret was too small, so the commander had to act as loader and gunner, which made its combat performance inefficient.
