New in premium edition SUPER OFFER!!! The Tiger I was one of the most feared tanks of World War II, and its participation in the Leningrad front in 1943 was remarkable for its impact on the fighting. Introduced by the Wehrmacht in 1942, the Tiger I featured a powerful 88 mm gun and nearly impenetrable armor by the standards of the time. In Leningrad, this tank was used to break through Soviet defensive lines and support German advances in difficult terrain. However, its heavy weight made it vulnerable in swampy areas and dense forests, common in that region. Despite its capabilities, fierce Soviet resistance and logistical difficulties limited its success.
