Description

The King Tiger, with its Henschel turret, was one of the most impressive tanks used by Germany during the last phase of World War II. Mounted with an 88 mm L/71 KwK 43 gun and 45 mm frontal armor, it was able to engage enemy tanks very effectively (especially from defensive positions), and the Henschel turret offered greater protection and a lower profile compared to previous versions. Its presence on the front line instilled fear in its enemies and made it a symbol of German armored power.
