Description

The Sturmgeschütz IV, or StuG IV, was a German assault gun used in World War II. It was based on the Panzer IV chassis and was armed with a 75 mm gun, its design also included frontal armor up to 80 mm thick which, together with its low profile, gave it more than adequate protection against enemy attacks.

The StuG IV had a crew of four and a 300-horsepower Maybach engine, enabling it to reach speeds of up to 40 km/h on the road. Its versatility and ability to support infantry troops and destroy armored vehicles made it a valuable asset to the Wehrmacht during the war.
