The Crusader Mk. III was a British battle tank evolved from the first cruiser tanks of the beginning of the conflict (Crusader MkI), it incorporated a 57 mm gun (more powerful than its predecessors). This tank is an icon of the fighting in North Africa during World War II, where it competed on equal terms with the Panzer III and Panzer IV of Rommel’s Afrika Korps.
