As a consequence of the German invasion of the western part of the Soviet Union in 1941, the USSR was forced to move much of its industrial production to the East, as well as to revise the way it produced its tanks. The order was given to simplify as much as possible the production of tanks in order to reduce the time in which they could be ready to reinforce the armored units of the Red Army, as a result of this policy numerous versions of the T34/76 appeared.
One of the most famous versions was produced at the Chelyabinsk tractor factory “ChTZ”. This Tamiya model is a 1/35 representation of this famous 1943 model.
