Sherman M4A3E8 “Easy Eight” ILK-61615

Description

The Sherman M4 was a medium tank developed by the United States and used by virtually all Allied countries during World War II.

The M4A3E8 “Easy Eight” was one of the last versions of this tank to be manufactured, its new horizontal suspension system reduced the vibrations of the tank, its armor was also increased with respect to previous versions and incorporated improvements in its gun that allowed it to fire 76 mm high bore ammunition. These improvements made the M4A3E8 comparable in performance to the T34/85 used by the North Koreans in the Korean War (during the Cold War).
