The carpenter’s clamp, specially adapted by Dismoer for use in model making, is a tool used to clamp parts firmly during assembly, gluing or cutting work.
It consists of two parallel jaws that are adjusted by means of a threaded screw, allowing a uniform pressure to be applied.
These jaws can be made of metal or wood, and the pressure is adjusted by turning a lever or a nut.
Their main use is to hold wooden parts in position while the glue dries, preventing them from shifting.
It is also useful in painting or sanding jobs where it is important that the parts do not move.
