Description
The M7 Priest was a self-propelled artillery gun developed by the Americans and used by the Allies in World War II.
The M7 Priest used the chassis of the M3 Lee tank, which was fitted with a 105 mm howitzer-type gun (M2A1).
The name “Priest” is due to the fact that the dome where the M7 machine gun was located reminded the soldiers of a church pulpit.
