Description

The Sturmgeschütz III Ausf G, also known as StuG III, was a World War II German tank destroyer used by the Syrian Army during the Six-Day War in 1967. Equipped with a 75 mm gun and 80 mm frontal armor, this vehicle proved to be effective in combat against enemy tanks. Weighing approximately 23 tons and with a crew of four, the StuG III Ausf G offered a combination of mobility and firepower that was still reasonable for the time…However, the combat tactics employed by Israel and its rapid conquest of the air quickly tipped the scales on the Israeli side.
