Soviet SU-85 self-propelled 1/72 Zvezda-5062

The Su-85 is a medium-weight self-propelled artillery and tank destroyer system used during World War II. These Su-85 self-propelled armored artillery vehicles proved their effectiveness in significant numbers from September 1943 until the end of the world conflict. Manufactured at the Ural Heavy Machinery Production Facility (Uralmash) between August 1943 and July 1944, a total of 2,337 self-propelled armored vehicles were produced. The 85 mm D-5S gun equipped on the SU-85 allowed the effective destruction of medium tanks at distances greater than one kilometer, while at closer ranges, it had the ability to penetrate the armored plates of heavy tanks.
