Description
The Sturmpanzer IV “Brummbär” was a German self-propelled howitzer used by the Germans in World War II. It was based on the Panzer IV chassis and equipped with a short 15 cm howitzer, designed to attack enemy fortifications and defensive positions, its frontal armor was 100 mm, providing good protection against enemy fire.
The “Brummbär” had a crew of five and a 300-horsepower Maybach engine, which enabled it to reach a top speed of around 38 km/h (25 mph). Its robust design and its ability to launch high-explosive projectiles made it a fearsome machine on the battlefield, especially in urban combat.
