Description

The Königstiger (“flare tiger” in German) was a German heavy tank, evolved from the Tiger I tank, which fought during the last months of World War II. He was deployed in the heavy tank battalions, on the western front he fought in the 503rd battalion and on the eastern front in the 501st.

The performance of this tank, its thick armor and its exceptional 88mm gun, made it a difficult opponent to beat, especially when it was entrenched in a defensive position.
