The Schwimmwagen was an amphibious car used by the Germans during World War II.
This is the amphibious version developed by Ferdinand Porsche of the Volkswagen 82 (also known as “Kubelwagen”). This car made it possible to ford rivers or travel through muddy areas in conditions that were not feasible for other vehicles.
