The Persian war chariot was a military vehicle used for much of the millennium before Christ.
The falcate chariots consisted of a structure that was pulled by four horses and on which two warriors fought (in addition to the driver who was in charge of driving the chariot). Their main mission was to break the defensive lines of the infantry, over which the infantry or cavalry would then penetrate.
