Panzerbefehlswagen Sd. Kfz 265 1/72 Italeri-7072

The Sd.Kfz. 265 Kleine Panzerbefehlswagen was a command vehicle developed to allow Panzer division commanders to closely follow armored units and better coordinate battlefield operations. Based on the chassis of the Panzer I Ausf. B, it lacked a turret and featured a fixed casemate-type structure housing a command room equipped with advanced transmission systems. It entered service in the second half of the 1930s and was first used during the Spanish Civil War. By the beginning of World War II it was considered obsolete.
