The Panzer IV/70(A) was a makeshift version of the German tank destroyer based on the Panzer IV chassis, developed in 1944. Designed to engage Soviet tanks, it was armed with a powerful 75 mm L/70 gun. Unlike the (V) model, this variant featured a less sloped superstructure and a taller silhouette. Although it offered good firepower, its greater weight compromised mobility and mechanical reliability in combat.
