The elegant car that Roden brings us in this 1/35 scale model was manufactured in 1941 by the “Packard Motor Company” that since the beginning of the century had been a specialist in manufacturing luxury vehicles.
When World War II broke out, the Packard company abandoned the manufacture of vehicles to give priority to the construction of aircraft engines, however, their cars were used during the conflict serving to transport high-ranking officers such as Dwight D. Eisenhower or General Douglas McArthur.
