Self-propelled howitzer 152mm ShkH DANA vz. 77 1/72 Trumpeter-82941

The 152mm ShkH DANA vz. 77 is a self-propelled artillery piece developed by Czechoslovakia in the 1970s. Its name, DANA(Dělo Automobilní Nabíjené Automaticky), translates as “self-loading self-propelled gun with automatic loading.” Introduced in 1977, it was one of the first artillery systems to combine a large-caliber gun with an 8×8 off-road truck chassis, giving it great mobility and the ability to operate in a variety of terrains. The DANA uses a 152 mm cannon with a length of 37 calibers, capable of firing high-explosive ammunition, fragmentation shells and other specialized types. Its maximum range is 20 km with conventional ammunition and greater with rocket-assisted projectiles. Designed to provide rapid and mobile support, the DANA was widely used in Warsaw Pact armies and exported to several nations. Despite its age, it remains an effective tool in modern conflicts.
