Perhaps one of the most famous motorcycles of the 600cc class used by the German army during World War II, the KS600 was built around a horizontally opposed 28 horsepower, shaft-driven engine.
With an attached sidecar, it could reach up to 96 km/h and, thanks to its 15-liter fuel tank, had a range of 300 km.
Production began in 1938 and it was used mainly in courier and reconnaissance roles from the early stages of the war.
Although production of the KS600 stopped in 1941, the remaining units continued in service until the second half of the conflict.
The ruggedness and reliability of this motorcycle made it a valuable tool for military operations, allowing fast and efficient transportation in various terrains, which made it ideal for the German army’s tactical missions.
