This impressive motorcycle, created in the late 1930s to meet the needs of the U.S. police forces and to a limited extent for the civilian market, played a prominent role during World War II in various branches of the U.S. armed forces. Recognized for its extraordinary robustness and reliability, the motorcycle was used by the military police for surveillance tasks and by couriers for the rapid delivery of messages between the various units at the front.
