Messerschmitt BF109 E-3 and Tupolev SB-2 Spanish Civil War ICM-DS7202

Description

The Tupolev Sb-2 was one of the first bomber planes that arrived in Spain to help the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War. The “katyushka”, as they were known by the republican soldiers were very effective at the beginning of the conflict because their speed and bomber quota was superior to those of the planes of the national side, however, the arrival of the Condor division and the BF109 changed the situation.

Ninety percent of the Tupolevs sent by the USSR were shot down during the course of the war.

The kit includes one Tupolev SB-2 bomber and two BF-109 fighters.
