Chipping and scuff marks, dust and dirt, runoff, charcoal, rust, discoloration, paneling, metallic and chalk writing effects are just a few of the many effects that the LOCK ‘N LOAD system will allow you to create, but as you use them you will discover many more possibilities.

The application is extremely simple and intuitive: the leads come already sharpened, just draw the effect and blend it with a brush moistened with water, or wet the tip of the lead and apply the effect, and if necessary adjust it with a damp brush. It can be easily corrected or removed with water if you are not satisfied with the result.

It is recommended to apply on a matte surface for a better grip and result. They can be used as is in the last phase of aging, but you can also protect the effects with a thin layer of varnish if you are going to apply other aging techniques with water or solvents.
