Description

The F15 Eagle has long been considered the world’s best operational fighter and is one of the most successful modern fighter aircraft in existence, with more than 100 victories and no shootdowns reported.
The F15, which had its first flight in July 1972, is powered by a Pratt & Whiteney F100-PW-100 engine and is capable of speeds approaching 2.5 match. In addition to its 20mm 61A-1 rotary cannon, the F15 can mount different types of air-to-air or air-to-ground missiles.
The F15C version is a single-seater and the fuel capacity was increased, which meant an extra weight on the aircraft and its landing gear had to be reinforced.
