Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II Tamiya-61124

Description

The F-35 Lightning II is a fifth-generation fighter aircraft, its most important quality is its ability to fly stealthily (undetected). The F35 also integrates multiple functions in its design, which are grouped into 3 different types:

• The F35A (reproduced in this Tamiya kit), Conventional Take-Off and Landing (CTOL) aircraft.
• The F35B, short take-off
• The F35C, with a wider tail and wing than the two previous versions.

The first flight of this aircraft took place in 2006 and it is expected to be deployed in the next few years in the USA, Italy, Japan and Australia.
