The Junkers Ju-87D-5, known as the Stuka, is an iconic German dive bomber that played a crucial role during World War II. The Ju-87D-5 variant represented a technical evolution with improvements in design and combat capability.

This single-engine aircraft, powered by a Junkers Jumo 211 in-line engine, incorporated a number of distinctive technical features. Its robust fuselage and swooping wing gave it an unmistakable appearance. Equipped with MG 81Z machine guns for self-defense and bomb-carrying capacity of up to 1,000 kg, the Ju-87D-5 stood out for its versatility on the battlefield.
