The Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (allied reporting name “Frank”) fought on the side of the Japanese Empire during World War II. This aircraft entered service in the spring of 1944 and was primarily tasked with defending the Japanese islands from attack by B-29s and carrier-based aircraft. After the war ended, the U.S. Army evaluated the type and considered it the best and most evolved Japanese fighter of the conflict.
Model includes parts for an auxiliary fuel tank, two pilot figures and four different paint schemes and markings.
