This set of unpainted 1/72 scale plastic soldiers depicts Bavarian infantry during the Napoleonic Wars. The figures are designed to recreate a square formation, ideal for resisting cavalry charges.

Bavaria, initially a small electorate, became the second largest state in the German Empire. During the Napoleonic Wars, Bavaria supported France, but after the disastrous Russian campaign of 1812, where it lost up to 30,000 men, it switched sides at the Battle of Leipzig in 1813. Bavarian soldiers were noted for their mane tufted helmets and light blue uniforms.

The set includes 43 well sculpted figures in 19 poses, distributed in three repeating sprues and one special sprue with unique figures, including casualties. This collection is an excellent addition to complete Napoleonic Bavarian armies and recreate historical scenes with great fidelity.
