The BMP-3 is a Russian infantry fighting vehicle developed in the 1980s to operate alongside modern tanks. Its production began in 1987, and it was presented to the public at a parade on May 9, 1990. It can carry 7 soldiers, plus its three-member crew.
It is armed with a 100 mm cannon, a 30 mm automatic cannon and three 7.62 mm machine guns. It reaches 70 km/h on the road and 10 km/h in the water. Used by the Russian Army, the Navy and countries such as the United Arab Emirates and South Korea.
