MH-60L “Black Hawk” special operations helicopter 1/48 ICM-48360

In late 1968, the U.S. Army initiated the UTTAS program to develop a multipurpose tactical transport helicopter. It called for a crew of three, capacity for 11-15 soldiers, two engines and transport on cargo aircraft. In 1976, Sikorsky won the competition with the UH-60A Black Hawk, the basis for an extensive family of helicopters for transport, special operations, electronic warfare and more. The MH-60L version was designed for the 160th SOAR, also known as “Night Stalkers”. Equipped with weather radar, FLIR sensor and in-flight refueling capability, it is ideal for complex missions.
