The Leopard 2A4 is a main battle tank designed and produced by Germany in the 1980s. It was an upgrade of the original Leopard 2, and featured improvements in electronics, armor and armament. It soon became one of the most advanced tanks in the world at the time, with a top speed of 68 km/h and a 120 mm gun capable of firing a wide variety of projectiles. The tank was used by the armed forces of several European countries, including Germany, Denmark, Spain and Finland, and has been widely regarded as one of the most successful and reliable tanks ever built.
