The ki-21 (or “Army Type 97 Heavy Bomber”) was a bomber used by the Empire of Japan during World War II. It was intended for long-range missions, the intention being that it would reach even the USSR from Japanese bases in Manchuria.
The Ki-21 was a twin-engine all-metal monoplane manned by 6 people, it had excellent aerodynamics, which made the speed and maneuverability very high by the standards of the time.
