Description
The Sdkfz 251, also known as Hanomag is one of the most well-known and iconic German military vehicles of World War II.
It was conceived as an all-terrain mechanized transport for Panzer Grenadiers (infantry) to follow their tanks and support them when necessary, although it was also used as a scout vehicle on occasion.
It weighed approximately 8 tons, its top speed was 50 km/h and its standard armament consisted of two 7.92 mm machine guns (one at the front and one at the rear).
